Arturo Rojas was born in Peru 1978. His afro- peruvian and latin roots combined with his knowledge in percussion made him an expert in afro latin dances fast, both in teaching and dancing.
He finished High school in 1994 and started dancing in the group "Imagines" which had the most famous dancers, teachers and choreographers in Peru at that time.
Between the years 2001-2007 Arturo moved to Los Angeles - California where he took classes from great Cuban masters like "Pedro Muñeco Aguilar" and "Kati Hernandez" among others.
2007 he moved back to Peru to form his Cultural organization "Peru Latin Dance" where he combined Afro-cuban and Afro-peruan with Cuban salsa.
In 2008 he founded "Rueda en el Parque" in Peru. With Peru Latin Dance he won the National Championship of Cuban salsa and Rueda de Casino twice in Peru, 2010 and 2011.
Arturo Rojas is a dancer, choreographer and teacher of Latin dances and is specialist in Cuban rhythms: AfroCuban, traditional Son, Rueda de Casino, Casino style and Cubaton.

Arturo Rojas received workshops with the best teachers and dancers the Casino Style and Afro Cuban: Alberto Valdes, Maikel Fonts, Madeline Rodriguez, Tomasito Santa Maria, Jorge Camaguey, Mario Charon, Kati Hernandez, Roberto Borrell, Jennyselt Galata, Seo Fernandez, Orlando Alfonso Papi Izquierdo, Rene Dennis Thompson,
and David Leneman.
He moved to Stockholm, Sweden in april 2015 because he got married.
